Sample Science has released Taiko Drums, a free virtual drum instrument plugin for macOS and Windows plus Kontakt and Decent sampler versions
Oh, oh, it’s Christmas. The time to hang out with your family and your best has come. I can imagine you spent a lot of money on gifts here. But there are also plenty of gifts from developers.
A new one comes from the plugin sand sample library developer Sample Science.
Sample Science Taiko Drums
Taiko Drums is a new free virtual drum instrument for macOS and Windows. It consists of sampled Taiko Drums condensed into 3 presets suited for cinematic music scores.
The sounds are embedded in a plugin with various control options. They are not very extensive but good enough to give refine your sounds. It has a built-in switchable lowpass/highpass filter, a multi-wave LFO, an amplitude ADSR envelope, and glide control.
Further, you get pan control, a distortion + drive processor, and a decent-sounding internal reverb effect. The plugin can be played in monophonic, polyphonic, and legato modes.
A nice Christmas gift from Sample Science with which you can add a little soundtrack epicness to your music.
Sample Science Taiko Drums is available now as a free download. It runs as a VST, VST3, and AU plugin. There are also Decent Sampler (mac/win/iOS) and Kontakt versions available.
