Elektron Syntakt Deal
The Elektron Syntakt is a hybrid groovebox that combines analog and digital synthesis in one device. It has in total of 12 tracks that can be used as instruments or MIDI tracks. 4 are analog and 8 are digital all programmable with the same Digi concept and the same clicky buttons.
The digital side has 10 unique algorithms that can be paired with a digital overdrive, multimode filter, base-width filter, and two LFOs per track. Then, you can work with four analog tracks. Three are pure drum tracks with 15 selectable machines. You can manipulate these with 15 selectable machines, an analog overdrive, analog multimode filter, and two LFOs per track. The fourth analog engine is for cymbals and offers 12 different machines. This can also be shaped to the same extent as the other three tracks.
A highlight of the SYNTAKT is its flexible audio routing. It allows you to route any of your synth tracks or external audio sources through the FX box that gives analog distortion & filtering as well as a couple of LFOs. Additionally, you can also drive them through a delay and reverb. So the SYNTAKT is not just a powerful groovebox but also an FXTAKT for your external sources.
Another creative feature is the four modifiers unlocking four deep levels of expression. The first two modifiers set the retrigger and velocity behavior of your sounds, while the other two are for custom intensities of other parameters.
Elektron’s strength is the sequencer. It is also packed with creative features: 64 steps per pattern and track, individual pattern length per track, adjustable clock divider per track, parameter locks, trig conditions, chance retrigger, and more.
Connection side, you get two inputs, two outputs, a headphone socket, and MDI in/out/thru.
