As you know already, Ableton launched recently Live 10, a further development of their best known DAW. There are many videos already available that shows nicely the new features but there is one video that is stunning. The YouTuber and musician Andri Søren published a video where you get an excellent overview of all the new sound features of Ableton Live 10 presented in a great improvisation.

I was excited to see what I could do with the new features in Ableton Live 10, including a wavetable synth and delay unit. Here’s a live, one-take jam, also including some other elements of my live set. It gets a bit crazy as it goes on, so watch your listening volume 🙂 Some notes: the performance is fully improvised (the way I like to play!), the instruments were however chosen beforehand. There are some EQs on some channels just to clean up the mix, but other than that it’s a simple setup. Also, Ableton 10 is in beta, and lastly my macbook pro from 2012 did stumble once or twice, but this is due to me asking a lot of it. Thanks for watching, sorry it’s been such a long time since my last video, and have fun out there.
