At SuperBooth 2018, Behringer unveiled the ODYSSEY Synthesizer, an analog clone of the duophonic ARP Odyssey. Compared to the ARP Odyssey FS from KORG, Behringer’s version comes with LED illuminated knobs, a complete MIDI In/Out interface as well as many built-in digital effects.

Now 4 months have passed and the first beta units have landed. I have the chance to test it and here is my first sound demo of the Odyssey that gives you an idea how it sounds. Availability or price are to be announced.

Estimated price: $399 USD (info from the official Behringer FB page)

Availability & Official Price: TBA

  1. too bad behringer still treats people like crap if there are any issues. see my last vid on topic on sounddoctorin youtube channel. Buyer beware. And some day..maybe they’ll pay the fees on the check they bounced to me when I was a service center. Gee what a concept huh?
