Modal Electronics Updates The CraftSynth With A New Poly Mode, Bluetooth MIDI & More

Modal Electronics announced this week a great update for the digital monophonic Synthesizer Craft Synth. With this new software update, users of multiple CRAFTsynths can now use them all together in a new poly mode. It allows users to build a complete new instrument with 2 or more of this cheap monophonic synths. Also interesting to mention is the add-on of Bluetooth MIDI which allows musicians to use new wireless keyboards with this synth. Beside this, they improved the software and fix critical bugs.

Excellent new update in my opinion that enhance a lot the features of this mini synth. Especially interesting here is that this update is not a new firmware for the synth but an update only for the editor. It would be good if more companies (Roland per example) take an example here and also expand various Synthesizers with software updates. I would be very pleased if, for example, the plug-outs are also upgraded to quadruple polyphony in the system 1. After the actual synthesis of the system 1 already has quadruple polyphony, it should take not to long to optimise them to make them poly or is a financial reason why they don’t update them. We don’t know.

The question about the new “red” Craftsynth is not yet so stay tuned for maybe news later this year.

Thanks Modal Electronics for this nice free update for this little mono Synthesizer.

CraftApp has a new update for all platforms, Mac OS, Windows, iOS and Android! For those people lucky enough to own more than one CRAFTsynth there is a new "POLY" mode available. This allows users to turn any number of multiple monophonic CRAFTsynths into one massive polyphonic CRAFTsynth.Other features in the update include Bluetooth MIDI compatibility and clock forwarding along with other many other improvements, optimisations and bug fixes.Download the latest versions now from www.modalelectronics.com/craft
