YouTuber and sound designer Jexus has released a new patch library with new sounds for the Arturia MicroFreak hybrid Synthesizer.

A Synthesizer is a very extensive instrument that cannot be completely mastered in a few hours. The presets often only show a fraction of what the synth can do in reality. It only gets really interesting when you start creating your own sounds and get to know the synth better and better.

One who understands how sound design works and how to explore a synth down to the last detail is the sound designer Jexus. He regularly shows his talent for sound design in his popular videos and accompanying sound libraries. For his latest project he has dedicated himself to one of the most popular hybrid synthesizers of recent years, the Arturia MicroFreak.

As a reminder: the Arturia MicroFreak is a hybrid Synthesizer consisting of a mighty digital multi-algorithm oscillator, an SEM-style analog filter, two envelopes, and a single LFO. And all playable with different knobs and a poly aftertouch keyboard.

Jexus has designed 130 all-new patches for the MicroFreak ranging from classic basses, leads… to experimental drones and textures. You can find arps, pads, basses, leads, drums, soundscapes, drones, and more.

If you’re looking for high-quality sounds for the MicroFreak, you’ve come to the right place.

The new Jexus Arturia MicroFreak patches are available now for $13,50 USD, 13,90€, or £12,90 on the official website.
