GEOSynths has released Visions, a new patch library with 64 new expressive sounds for the mighty UDO Super 6 Synthesizer.
Synthesizers constantly need new sounds. Whether hardware or software synths. Patches are the food of our sound machines. If you don’t want to sacrifice your valuable time for designing your own sounds down to the last detail, use professional sound libraries.
A good example is GEOSynths. Besides his activity on YouTube (Synth Show videocast, highly recommended), Jamie from GEOSynths is a professional sound designer who offers his sounds for sale. For his latest project, he dedicated himself to the UDO Super 6 hybrid synth. The result is a new patch library for it.
GEOSynths Visions
Visions is a new library with 64 new patches for the mighty UDO Super 6 Hybrid Synthesizer. They ship in 8 separate banks with each 8 patches.
According to Jamie of GEOSynths, the patch bank covers a wide range of sounds from motions pads, strings, basses, leads, traditional timbres, synths, and much more.
It also includes a lot of FM-infused patches, both frequency, and filter, many of which are fully controllable. The sound designer recommends using an expression pedal (Moog EP3 for example) to get the best out of the 64 new patches.
Further, Jamie promises that you get a mixture of analog-style and digital sounds including metallic timbres, FM, and more.
I hope you have a lot of fun with these Patches, they actually blew me a away and it was difficult to stop playing them and only wish I had more time to develop more.
