Noise Engineering has updated its free Freequel bundle with experimental synths and effects plugins with new modulation capabilities, polyphonic aftertouch & more.

There are many free plugins on the market. However, there are fewer who are equipped with experimental ideas.

With the Freequel Bundle, Noise Engineering released a highlight in the experimental and free area last year. A bundle with three fascinating, utterly unique plugins. Today the developers published a big update with neat new features.

Noise Engineering Freequel bundle

Details

Noise Engneering Freequel bundle consists of three experimental plugins: Sinc Vereor a Synthesizer plugin that is capable of creating razor-sharp, harmonic rich sounds. It basically brings back the sound of the gone-but-not-forgotten Sinc Iter Eurorack module.

Virt Vereor is another Synthesizer that uses a set of unique synthesis algorithms which celebrates its premiere in the Arturia MicroFreak 3.0 update. Including supersaw, additive synthesis, and more. The plugin creates unique basses, leads, or just weirdly experimental textures.

Ruina is a stereo distortion plugin that bundles multiple crazy sound shapers in a single plugin: a wavefolder, a multi-band staturator, chaotic suboctave generator, octavizer, phase shifter, filters, and an overdrive for maximal destruction. It is capable of creating a wide range of distorted timbres: from warm up to complete, creative destruction.

LFO Update

The Noise Engineering Team has today expanded the feature set of the plugins once more making them more flexible und versatile. The new update for the Freequel bundle introduces an extensive internal modulation engine with four LFOs and four macro controls. These are now available in all three plugins on a dedicated modulation page.

Then, they added new advanced randomization options, and improved the MIDI capabilities. Also new is MIDI learn support and the ability to map velocity and polyphonic aftertouch. You get channel and note aftertouch support. Very nice updates you should not miss.

Noise Engineering LFO update is available now as a free download. The plugins runs as a VST, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS and Windows.
