We love the word free plugin. Interest is aroused immediately because you don’t want to miss anything. The last few years have been nice for friends free plugins. The quality has improved significantly and a lot has happened on the free market. From the point of view of small developers and the big players.

Filter is a classic, bread-and-butter filter plugin with a resonant lowpass or high pass filter with controllable cutoff frequency, Q factor and resonance. There are also controls for the degree, rate and mix. The plugin operates in stereo and offers automation for all parameters. It runs with a DSP code that highly optimized and with 64-bit internal precision says the developer.
Filter ships with different, ready-to-use factory presets. The plugin is also part of the MODULA Suite collection. Not a particular highlight, since filters are built into most DAWs. But with a free plugin you can hardly go wrong.
Anwida Soft Filter is available now as a free download for a limited time only. It runs as a VST3/AU plugin on macOS with full Apple Silicon support and Windows.
