Happy SYNTHMAS #7. Wait it’s already the 8? Yeah sorry for the long delay. This came about by changing the rules of the giveaways. Now you can participate until 23:59 CET which is easier for the readers and me. So there will be two things to win today. One for SYNTHMAS #7 and #8. SYNTHMAS Giveaway #7: Tone2 Saurus 3 Synthesizer
I teamed up with the German developer company Tone 2 for the seventh giveaway day. Tone2 sponsored a license of their flagship virtual analog Synthesizer plugin Saurus 3. It’s a virtual analog /analog modeling Synthesizer with a rich feature set that covers all aspects of hardware analog synths including a rich sound, punchy envelopes, and more. It includes two oscillators each with a sub oscillator, analog-modeled filter types with FM capabilities, two multi-wave LFOs, three envelopes, and effects.
Saurus 3 ships with 1022 presets from professional sound designs that gives you a huge overview of the sonic possibilities of the synth.
How Can I Participate
Every day I open a door at 12AM (CET) for 24 hours, which means you only have 24 hours to participate in the giveaway. Participating is super easy. Simply visit the article on the current door and comment under the article. Don’t panic, comments have to be activated by me because of a spam pre filter. Please do not send your answer twice or more. And comments on Facebook, Twitter… don’t count!
After the 24 hours, I will draw the participants by a wild random generator. If you don’t like to end up in Google SEO with your name, I also allow you to only use your first name here. The most important thing anyway is a working e-mail with which I can contact the winner or the winners.

During September this year, I composed several demo tracks on Renoise just to see if I would get a prize from the Tone2 Saurus Demotrack competition. Unfortunately, I won nothing :(. I did ask for Warlock on my xmas list because it sounds amazing and is fun to play with. Underrated additive synth!
Nice vst synth.
We don’t have wings to fly, but a few notes of the magnificent Tone2 Saurus are enough to take flight.

Tom, just to add to the confusion: 12:00 AM is indeed equal to midnight (I looked it up) but it feels like…well.. noon . I can’t get used to the idea 12pm is noon and 12am is in the middle of the night! Other than that I’m a perfectly logical and consequent guy.
