And there is the long-awaited day. Today is Christmas Eve and the start of the Christmas holidays. I hope you all have your presents together and are ready to spend nice, cozy days with your family. I wanted to say thank you for the great participation in the Synthmas event this year.

Yes you read that right. There is a hardware bundle hidden behind door 24 for one lucky winner. For the last SYNTHMAS giveaway (#24), I teamed up with the Italian-based music tech company IK Multimedia to give away an UNO Synth Pro desktop analog synth. On top, you get an X-GEAR effect pedal of your choice.

And since there is currently a special holiday promo, with a little luck you will get also the Syntronik 2 software bundle on top. That depends, however, on how quickly IK Multimedia can send the package to you. The special offer runs until January 4, 2022.

The UNO Synth Pro is a portable paraphonic analog Synthesizer with 3 oscillators, dual filter, studio-grate effects, huge modulation engine, 64-step sequencer, and more. One of my top synth picks of the year 2021 because of its fat, juicy sound character but also unique circuit. A highlight is the dual filter design, with which you can explore new sound regions not possible with classic analog synths. Full review is available here.

Synths and pedals go perfectly together. Thus, we decided to upgrade this deal with one of the new IK Multimedia X-GEAR pedals. These are IK’s first hardware effect pedals and are based on excellent algorithms from the well-known software products.

You can choose between a versatile distortion, modulation, delay or reverb pedal. No matter which pedal you choose here, each is versatile and feature-rich. Each pedal has a big number of different algorithms onboard that you can tweak in detail with different hands-on parameters.
