Arturia goes dark with a limited-run step “black editions” including the new KeyStep 37 & Keystep Pro, original Keytep, BeatStep, and Beatstep Pro
With their Step products, Arturia has brought music production with hardware electronic music instruments to the fore. Mainly because they are very compact and offer many functions (arp, sequencer, chords…) and all connections you need. Classic MIDI, USB but also CV/gate for analog or modular synths. They are basically controlling hubs for external gear. And all this in a very affordable way.
For a long time now, many have wanted the Steps as a black version. Yes, I also prefer black over white. And the good news: Arturia has just released all their beloved steps products in a limited black edition.
Arturia Step Black Editions
It’s true, all Arturia step products are now available in black, including the new KeyStep 37 and KeyStep Pro, which are celebrating their premiere in dark clothes. The release includes:
KeyStep: “A polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator in the familiar form of a portable, highly creative keyboard, perfect for controlling everything from softsynths to modular racks”.

BeatStep Pro: The BeatStep formula expanded into a supreme multi-faceted controller, with projects, multiple 64-step sequencer tracks, 8 individual drum CV gate outputs, and much more.
Nice to see that the Keysteps and Beatsteps are now also available in black again. But it’s a shame that they are only for a limited time again because the demand for the black versions is always high.
