IK Multimedia UNO Synth Pro is now available and the first sound demos give a nice overview of the character of the new 3-oscillator paraphonic analog synth from Italy
With the UNO Synth, IK Multimedia presented their first analog Synthesizer in 2018. Fully analog, compact, and battery-operated. A great sounding Synthesizer for on the go. In January of this year, their hardware synthesizer journey continued with the UNO Synth Pro.
Much that we missed on a small one is now available in the Uno Synth Pro. In addition, a paraphonic engine, a third oscillator, two filters for more sound possibilities, digital effects, and more. Plus in two versions, one that is perfect to take with you and one with Fatar Keys for the studio.
UNO Synth Pro Sound Demos
In the meantime, 4 months have passed since the announcement and the first Uno Synth Pro Units have been delivered to testers but also to pre-orderers.
Today I released a long sound demo on YouTube that shows the rough sound of the synth. The signal was recorded and packed into the video without compression or other sound processing tools. The demo should give you a first honest impression of how it sounds out of the box. The demo features a wide range of sounds including basses, leads, thanks to the paraphonic engine also pads, and sequences.
Sorry for my playing technique, I’m not a professional keyboarder at all. This video is not intended to be a musical performance but a “sound demo”.

Also, today YouTuber BoBeats released a sound demo in which he plays individual sounds but also the Uno Synth Pro in connection with other devices.

Another demo shows the character difference between the UNO Synth and the UNO Synth Pro. For me the UNO Synth sounds a bit more rougher, dirtier, the Pro is a bit softer and rounder.

Lastly, IK Multimedia has also released a longer sound demo in which they combine the device with the Uno drum.
