Upgrade your sounds and tracks with Flux Mini from Caelum Audio, a free effect processor plugin for PC, Mac & iOS that brings life and character to them.
Caelum Audio is known to some Synth Anatomy readers for the free Tape Cassette 2 plugin. Later probably for the Tape Pro as well. The good news, the company has another new plugin that you should not miss.
It’s called Flux Mini and is a versatile audio processor that brings movement, character, and dynamism to your tracks. The plugin idea is somewhat reminiscent of the popular Xfer Records LFO tool that also has movement in tracks.
Caelum Audio Flux Mini
Flux Mini relies on the synchronized amp and filter envelopes. This is built-into a very simple interface with a shape editor and three knobs. The shape editor is fully-customizable and allows you to create your own shapes. This affects either the amplitude, lowpass filter, or high-pass filter. For the filters, you also have a resonance knob with which you can add more bit to the frequency modulation.
From simple side-chains to manic modulations, the plugin is perfect to bring quickly life into your sounds/tracks. It ships with 20 ready-to-use presets or you design your own patches that fit your music.
Caelum Audio Flux Mini is available now as a free download for PC & Mac in VST3 and AU format. The plugin is also available as a free iOS app with AUv3 support.
