Every Synthesizer plugin is different, has a certain feature set, and has its own character. The price also often determines whether it is a flagship or not. However, this is not always the case. Often, even simple plugins are rather expensive. But what defines a flagship Synthesizer plugin? There is no clear definition, but it can be categorized relatively well.
On the one hand, they have a complex engine that can be used for many sounds. Above all, they are not simple preset machines/romplers but clear sound design tools. These engines should also lead classic synthesis forms in new directions. A large community is also important that provides users with plenty of content, including preset libraries. Of course, a fat sound quality and a good interface are also among the criteria. It’s Black Friday weekend and many popular flagship synthesizers are on sale for a limited time.
Not all big flagship Synthesizer is on sale. Consequently, some big synths are unfortunately not included like U-he or Spectrasonics. For the latter, certain American store offers small discounts exclusively for US website visitors. I can’t see them myself, sorry.
