As a soundscapes & drones fan, I am happy about every new product that has been designed for it, including Kontakt libraries. Big Fish Audio has today released Aura, a new atmospheric drone builder for Kontakt 6 Player. According to the developers, it an inspiring sound design tool that eliminates all barriers to your creativity.
The Aura engine allows you to seamlessly morph four separate sound engines with a central X/Y pad for continually evolving dynamics and feelings. Big Fish Audio delivers it from high-quality factory sound sources, but the engine can be expanded with your own samples.
Further, you can choose from twenty-four separate effects. Ten of these effects offers modulation capabilities via the built-in LFOs and step sequencers of the engine. Lastly, it comes with over 100 prests with which you can get started right away
