GlitchCore is a crazy glitch AUv3 processor for iOS (iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch) with which you can rearrange, remix and bring new elements in your tracks.

I have been interested in iOS apps for many years. It was all the more exciting when AudioBus or AUv3 was introduced. Both technologies opened up new integration options in mobile music production. One of the developers who I supported from the very first minute was Matheu Sound.  With Sliver he published one for the first iOS apps with which you can convert samples into evolving textures.

After a long absence on the iOS stage, Alex Matheu returns with a new app called GlitchCore. With AUv3 support, of course, it is an effect for re-sequencing and re-arranging audio. More precisely, GlitchCore lets you glitch audio by making micro-loops and scrubbing your sounds. This can be done very versatile by adding loop points, set variable loop lengths and reverse live audio.

GlitchCore

GlitchCore can be used in your favorite host app like AUM, apeMatrix, GarageBand, Cubasis, and others. It’s a powerful tool that works really well drums, samples, drum machines, synths, pads, and vocals. For $3.99 it sounds like a must-have for iOS.
