Squarp Instruments’ latest module is the Rample Wave System and is a 4-voice sampler player with advanced functions for Eurorack.
Now the secret is out. Squarp Instruments shows with the Rample Wave System a new 4-voice advanced sample player & audio processor for the Eurorack format. It’s not a “sampler” module but a sample player because it can only read audio files from a microSD card and cannot sample live. Nonetheless, Rample looks very interesting at first look.
It offers 4 independent voices with dedicated audio outputs, each of which can playback audio with no duration limits from a memory card. This is very handy especially if you would like to use a drone/texture sample per example during the whole performance. Each voice can be multi-layered and includes 5 audio effects with additional tools.
Further, it includes 4 assignable CV inputs and everything is controllable with MIDI input. The module will be shipped with a preloaded microSD card with artist kits.
I don’t have any more information at the moment because the “read more” page on the website is not yet available. I will update the article asap with the latest information. It is not known whether it will be released today or not. But a price and shipping is already public.
Squarp Instruments Rample Wave System will be available in mid-march for a price of 299€ for EU customers. The pre-tax price will be $269/249€.
