Full Bucket Music, “king” of the free VST / AU plugins, has released Tricent mk III, a Synthesizer that emulates the Korg Tridient from 1982.

There are developers who wonder why simple plug-ins are so expensive. On the other side, some amazing plugins are free and we still think why not asking a bit for the amazing job. The latter fits to Full Bucket Music, which offers a large selection of synthesizers and effect plugins for PC & Mac for free. No strange registration, log in to a website or limitation. They are free.

Today, Björn Arlt main developer of these free plugins has released another amazing Synthesizer plugin. Tricent mk III is a Synthesizer plugin that emulates the classic Korg Trident string synth from 1982. As always, it’s written in native C++ code or high performance and low CPU consumption. Same as the original synth, it’s polyphonic (8 or 64 voice poly) and offers three sections: Synthesizer, Brass and Strings.

  1. Yes, the plugs sound great and the newer ones seem to sound even better to my ears! FBM has a serious deication to old Korg stuff. Being programmed in C ++ makes these plugs very light on your CPU, truely pro poducts for free! One of my favs is the FBM BBD delay, I use this effect regularly!
