Reason 11.1 is the first major update for Reason Studios’ new version of their DAW that brings AU support for the Rack plugin, fixes bugs and is ready for macOS Catalina.
The good news is that music producers with Logic Pro can now also enjoy the new Reason Rack plugin. With this update, the company brings it’s new version of Reason to a wider global audience of music creators.
Reason 11.1, also now compatible with macOS Catalina, can be used as a standalone DAW or a plugin, offering immense value at affordable prices across the three available versions that offer entry-to-advanced combinations of Reason Studio’s legendary synths, instruments, and effects.
Reason Rack Plugin is for me one of the highlights of this year because you can use the best known “Propellerhead” instruments/effects like Thor, Europa, Dr. Octo Rex Loop Player… in other DAW’s like Ableton Live, Logic Pro… Plus, you can expand it rack extensions from 3rd party developers. So a plugin in a plugin. This news is also good for developers of such extra programs that means more interest in their products.
Reason 11 Intro is already available for 79 € that includes the Reason Rack plugin as well as 11 instruments, 11 effects and so on. This is already a great price/value in my opinion.
Mattias Häggström Gerdt (product manager) said: “With Reason 11 we wanted to make sure anyone could harness the power of the Reason Rack in a way that works for them: as a self-contained environment or a super-powered plugin. The release of Reason Rack Plugin as an AU is the next step on this journey, opening the doors for users of Logic Pro X and many other hosts on macOS. Now more musicians than ever can join the multitude who already love using Reason to make music.”
Reason 11.1 is a free update for existing users. Reason 11 is & Reason 11 Suite are currently on sale at up to 33% OFF the regular price. Save up to 90% OFF on Rack Extension in the official Reason Studios store.
