Lurker Beats ANA-1000, a new virtual analog Synthesizer plugin for PC & Mac with some nice features that cost you nothing
I wrote about Lurker Beats back in June when they released a free chorus with a very crazy GUI. Now the developers have ANA-1000, a new free virtual analog Synthesizer at the start. Well, another free virtual analog Synthesizer but this one is not just badly equipped or a hidden lite version.
ANA-1000 features two oscillators with a waveform x-fade function, a filter, 3 LFO’s as well as different effects: chorus, distortion, and delay. Something wrong placed, however, ANA-1000 also has three envelopes which can be found in the OSC1, OSC2 and filter section.
According to the developer, the plugin is an effective instrument that can create a variety of sounds, ranging from heavy basses, screaming leads, to warm and wavy pads. Sounds tempting and this is even higher, as the plugin is available as a free download.
Even if you should not look a gift horse in the mouth, there are improvements that the developer can do here. Especially the GUI can be a little more intuitive and clean designed in my opinion.
