IK Multimedia will launch a PC & Mac editor for the UNO Synth soon, Jakob has a free iPad editor already on the grid that gives you full access to all parameters!
The UNO Synth is the first analog Synthesizer by the Italian company IK Multimedia. This is a monophonic Synthesizer with two oscillators, a filter, two envelopes and an LFO. Additional it comes with an arpeggiator and a create sequencer. Since you can not access to all the parameters of the synth on the hardware, IK will bring in the next few weeks a free editor for PC & Mac on the market. Here you have than full access to the envelopes, a hidden swing function in the sequencer and more.
An iPad editor has not announced IK Multimedia yet, but the YouTuber and iPad music specialist Jakob Haq has already built one. Jakob used it here the MIDI Designer Pro app and built his own template for the UNO synth which gives you access to all parameters as well as presets. An excellent editor especially for mobile musicians who want an editor that is portable.
“Get full access to the IKM UNO Synth synthesizer engine by using an iPad! IKM states that a UNO synth editor will be available for PC and Mac, however no word about an iOS version … so I made a MIDI editor myself using MIDI Designer PRO 2. This way hidden features in UNO can now be accessed like a SWING setting for the Sequencer, LFO modulation for Oscillator 1 & 2. There’s even full ADSR envelopes available for both the Amp and Filter etc. I’m going through the whole thing in this video!
Jakob Haq’s free iPad editor for the UNO Synth is now available for free on the MIDI Designer Pro 2 website.
