May I introduce the most expensive granular Eurorack module, the Percussa Super Signal Processor (SSP). The SSP is not just a granular module but a sound synthesis platform in Eurorack format. It’s based on a powerful quad-core ARM cortex A17 processor and offers 16 input channels, 8 output channels, USB host/device ports and a microSD card slot.
In the oscillator section, users have various types of oscillators available: wavetable oscillator with true 3D morphing & cloud features, sampler with layering features and granular options.
Percussa SSP is a power horse module because it can do all the functions of individual modules in one: VCO, VCF, VCA, sequencer, effect processor, CV utilities & more. With the latest update you can even use it as a Linux VST host and use instrument and effect plugins.

Yes! A pacarana or paca are still the most powerful granular synthesizers on this planet. And the symbolic sound implementation of granular synthesis sounds very good because of the technical background they have and how the algorithms are implemented on a real DSP plattform.
