Twisted Electrons new portable Synthesizers brings back the sound of vintage video console games!

At Superbooth 2018, Twisted Electrons, makers of the TherapSid MKII Synthesizer or Crazy8 sequencer announced new interesting affordable portable Synthesizers. HapiNES is a new multitrack chiptune Synthesizer inspired by the RP2A07 sound chip found in the NES games console. µAcid8 is a portable 8Bit bass-line synthesizer borrowing the characterful wavetable engine from acid8.

Both instruments features a built-in sequencer, are battery powered and are sync-able with the PO series from Teenage Engineering. Unfortunately I didn’t visit the Twisted Electrons booth this year because the Superbooth was with over 200 exhibitors ver huge.
