HY-MONO by HY-Plugins is a fat sounding monophonic virtual analog Synthesizer for PC & Mac that is based on the Tom Oberheim SEM.

Free Synthesizer plugins are abundant on the market, especially for PC (Windows). Also more and more free synth plugins for Mac coming to the market because many  music producers use macOS as operation systems. One of the highlights of these cross-platform synths is the HY-MONO by HY-Plugins, it’s a virtual analog Synthesizer that is based on the Tom Oberheim SEM Synthesizer.

It features 2 oscillators with sync, a state variable filter like the hardware, two envelopes and one LFO. To add more sound possibilities, the developer added also a delay effect processor in it. The plugin also features a small modulation matrix as well as a handy parameter randomizer for the different sections (oscillators, filter, envelopes…).

Here is a little sound demo to give you an impression how the HY-MONO sounds!
