Free Kontakt 5 libraries are always a nice gift. Some time ago, the developer SONIXINEMA released Resonate, a free Kontakt 5 library that features sounds from a resonant metal bowl. It has a size of 500 MB of sample library that includes 4 recorded articulations including mallets, sticks, taps and bowing. On top, it features a decent new scripted interface with 4 different effects. One of them is a reverb with over 20 versatile convolution reverb settings.

I recently played around with this library. In my opinion, it’s a very nice sounding library. It offers very interesting raw recording that can be manipulated further with effects in the interface. If you are user of Kontakt 5, don’t hesitate to check out this free library.
