Knobs, knobs, knobs. Hardware Synthesizers are so popular because they have many parameters on the interface. What if the synth has only a few parameters or you use software products. Yes, you buy one of the many MIDI controllers on the market. One of these is the 60Knobs controller from Bastl Instruments which is an interesting DIY product. Although I’m not the biggest fan of the knob form myself, this controller can be very useful and is affordable.
Good news coming today from the Bastl crew. They released today the 60Knobs controller editor for PC, Mac and Linux that gives you a better way to map your knobs to parameters.
The new 60Knobs Editor is now available for free over Github.
