On this year’s NAMM Show, Studio Electronics, the engineers behind the Roland SE-02 Synthesizer presented two new products. The biggest news is the upcoming release of their sixth Boomstar Synthesizer. The new 8016 model features the best-known Roland Jupiter/Juno filter. Beside this, they redesigned completely the interface of the Boomstar Synthesizers and included a new analog improved feedback loop.

As most people know, Studio Electronics have developed the first analog Roland Boutique Synthesizer. The problem for many people are the little knobs that make programming very difficult. To get a better and finer access to the filter, Studio Electronics introduced on this year’s NAMM show the SE-02 EX+Box, an add-on for the SE-02 Synthesizer.
