If you keep an eye on a music website weekly it’s absolutely Full Bucker Music. After releasing the great Nabla plugin, he released over the weekend the Blooo, a new powerful polyphonic Synthesizer for PC and Mac. This new release doesn’t emulate a vintage synth but comes with an own and unique synth engine.
The Blooo comes with two oscillators that features several waveforms like sawtooth or sine wave. The latter allows you to create advanced FM sounds per example. Than both oscillators travel further in two filters which can be routed freely. The filter section is also very versatile and features several filter types. Same as in the oscillators, you can make here also frequency modulation with the filters. Beside the more classical filters, the Blooo features also a phaser like filter type that gives you a nice tool to create vintage string sounds. All this is powered by three envelopes and three advanced LFO’s.
Like the previous free plugins of Full Bucket Music, the Blooo sounds very strong and good. Above all the FM possibilities and various filters give musicians a Synthesizer with which one can achieve a lot. Like the other plugins, the Blooo has a very low CPU consumption and allows multiple instances without problems. So the Blooo is once again a strong Synthesizer that should not be missed. If you like the Synth and use it a lot, I recommend to make a donation to the developer so he can continue to maintain the plugin in the future.
