With the release of the VCV Rack, Andrew Belt has made the world of Eurorack Synthesizers accessible and affordable to very musician in software form. The basis software is available for free, but can later be expanded with commercial modules. Because the framework is open-source, it was only a matter of time before the first third-party modules will be published.
Autodafe, an indie sample library developer takes the step and released today several new modules for the VCV Rack for free. The Module pack for VCV Rack includes per example an overdue LFO module, multiples, clock divider, foldback distortion and more. Second release is the free Drum Kit for VCV Rack that includes a complete selection of drum sounds perfectly to design a modular drum machine. Last but but not least, he published the Blank Panel, a non-functional module that has the aim to invite downloaders of the free modules to donate 5€ for the new release. If you are happy with this new modules, I really recommend you to support the developer.
