Ton2 introduced today a major update for the Electra Synthesizer for PC and Mac. One of the biggest new features inside v.2.5. is support for Drag & Drop modulation that allows musicians now to drag an envelop or LFO and drop it to any knob to modulate it. It doesn’t offer new sound possibilities but is an excellent workflow improvement for this synth.

Also the new version includes several new high-quality effects like 8 delay effects and 10 additional distortion effects. Several of these effects like the Resonator Delay or the Waveshaper are quite impressive for creating new sounds. Beside this, the developer also fix several bugs and adds a big amount of improvements.

Electra 2 breathes new life into the term “synthesizer workstation”. With its powerful and sonically versatile approach to audio production, it provides you with truly outstanding new sounds. The instrument is equipped with a high-end quality sound engine with multilayer support and a wide range of music production features. Its friendly, easy to use interface allows first-timers to easily create sounds and enables experts to delve into sound design as deeply as they want to. With Tone2’s high quality sound technology at its core, you’re not only working with a larger palette for creating original sounds, but also the best sound quality possible and with a lower CPU usage than any other type of workstation.

Electra 2 comes with an astounding collection of over 1200 production-ready sounds by professional sound designers. A smart patch browser gives you an instant overview of all the available categories and sounds. Just pick the sound you want – it’s that easy.
