With the new PrettyScope from Soundemote, you can study waveforms in a new way. This new effect plugin captures the beauty of analog oscilloscopes and offers a wide range of aesthetic options. Hello, sonic explorer. I hope you find PrettyScope to be a great tool for studying waveforms as well as for painting with sound. The main reason I created PrettyScope was to make it easier to see waveforms on YouTube. The 1-pixel-thick lines of most software oscilloscopes is very bad for video. Also, I needed an oscilloscope to include in my future software Synthesizers.
There is more work to do especially in the area of depicting 1D mono/stereo waveforms and capturing more of an “old hardware” analog look. I hope PrettyScope is a popular product so that I have the funds to implement all my ideas as well as the feature requests you may undoubtedly have. We are just scratching the surface with this technology.
