I have already written about this new drum Synthesizer by Moog Music but now the first sound test is available. The Drummer From Another Mother is an analog drum Synthesizer only available in the VIP Soldering Workshop during Moogfest 2017. The design is inspired by the Mother 32 Synthesizer but the sound is completely different. It also feature a full patchbay that works with the Eurorack world. What we can hear in this demo is already great and i hope a lot that they will release a drum synthesizer one day as commercial product.
The Moogfest Engineer VIP Pass is a special Moogfest ticket that includes an exclusive two-day synth-building workshop and VIP access to the festival. The Engineer VIP Workshop consists of two three-hour sessions (held over two days) led by Moog engineers, where participants learn the foundations of analog synthesis and are guided through the process of building their own unreleased Moog synthesizer/sequencers. The synthesizers built in the workshop will be part of a limited run of 100 units. No experience is necessary, but basic soldering knowledge is recommended.
