SuperBooth 2017 will be next week in Berlin and we are all interested what U-he will show us this year. Maybe a complete new emulation Synthesizer (The Cat announced in a Telekom Electronic Beats video) or maybe something complete different? Also there are still plenty of different internal projects from the u-he team (like the last year on SuperBooth the very interesting drum Synthesizer) which can be showed in Berlin next week. Beside this hopes for new software products, U-he released today a new sound library with the name Hive Science 2 for the Hive Synthesizer and a new public beta for the upcoming Diva 1.4.2 update. For Hive Science 2, the sound desing is done by Howard Scarr and Kevin Schröder to give you more tasty aural treats.

Howard Scarr and Kevin Schroeder team up again for Hive Science 2, 350 presets full of style and high impact. The soundset revisits and expands on ideas from the original Hive Science. More epic pads, more stomping rhythms, more modern leads, more pensive textures, more thumping basses… more of everything.

Hive Science 2 puts the sound design expertise of Howard and Kevin at your fingertips. Dive into the analogue recreations from Howard, the cinematic styles from Kevin, and the results of their collaborations.

With maximum playability via realtime performance controls and Hive’s incredible audio engine, Hive Science 2 is full of fresh and vibrant sonic possibilities.

The soundset is available now for purchase for $39 USD + VAT in EU.

A new public beta of the Diva virtual analog Synthesizer is also available now for the users.
We are close to wrapping up work on the next Diva update, but would appreciate some final testing before release. The 1.4.2 update contains a number of bug fixes and improvements, the most notable being the rewritten VST3 support. Also new: a Move to trash option for the preset browser, +/-48 semitone pitch bend ranges, and a couple of GUI tweaks.
Please read the complete list of changes, download the update and add your feedback at our forum.
