Sinevibes announced this week that the Dynamic Collection is 30% OFF during this week only. This collection contains 7 crazy and wired instruments and effects for Mac only. If you are user of a macintosh and love crazy stuff, check out absolutely the stuff from Sinevibes.

The Dynamic Collection includes 7 of Sinevibes most fun sequenced effect plugins: Array, Cluster, Flow, Inertia, Sequential, Shift, Switch.

Alternator

Alternator is a monophonic synthesizer with a unique approach to sound creation – every single parameter of its engine is sequenced. It consists of three modules – an oscillator, going into a filter, and then into an effect – but they all have their own separate step sequencers which change every property of the patch in a rhythmical fashion: oscillator waveform and pitch, modulation envelopes, even filter and effect types. Each of Alternator’s sequencers has its own timing, looping and randomization features, making it unusually easy to create motion lead and bass sounds with almost never-repeating patterns.
Alternator’s unique design is reflected in the user interface: all of its elements are neatly laid out on a single screen, with no tabs or menus. The sequencers have fluid color-coded graphics that reshape according to their settings, showing an exact view of what your sound composition is. In addition to this, each preset in Alternator has 12 patch snapshots that you can switch via MIDI keyboard and host automation, making it just as fun in live performance as during production.

Array

Array is an effect for spectral animation. It filters the incoming audio into eight separate bands and allows you to individually pass or mute them in a rhythmical fashion, essentially working as a gate sequencer in the frequency domain. With macro controls for multiple parameters, Array is a quick yet capable tool for all kinds of spectral effects – morphed, stepped, strobed or glitched.

Cluster

Cluster is a plugin for creating complex, animated filter effects. At its core is a looping step sequencer that runs in precise sync with incoming audio and lets you set filter type, frequency and modulation envelope individually per each of its 32 steps. Thanks to such flexibility, as well as multiple filter models and finely-tunable parameters, Cluster can easily do anything from smooth, precise filter sweeps to rhythmic spectral reconstruction – regardless of what kind of sound is on the input.
Cluster displays a live audio waveform and aligns its sequencer graphics with it – exactly in the same way it’s done by the sound engine, for true “what you see is what you get” operation. Every element in its user interface is color-coded and features subtle animations, bringing unusual ease of use and interactivity. Plus, all this goodness is rendered right on your Mac’s graphics adapter meaning fast response and no extra load on the main processor, regardless of how new or old your system is.

Flow

Flow is a flanger that goes far beyond traditional – instead of simple up-and-down sweeps, it employs a sophisticated envelope sequencer to modulate the sound in a rhythmical fashion. Flow has two different flanger characters with positive or negative feedback, advanced synchronisation and timing features, plus a host of automation and randomisation options. All this combined allows you to create a myriad of unique effects: from intricate “jet plane” patterns and dancing comb filtering to complex swooshes or stuttered glitches. Plus, each instance of Flow stores eight snapshots of itself that can be switched in realtime or via automation.
As always with Sinevibes products, Flow has a clean, colour-coded user interface with a near-zero learning curve. It is built entirely using Apple’s Core Animation framework – so not only it offers organic, lively animations, it also uses your Mac’s graphics processor letting the central one concentrate solely on audio processing. This makes Flow both productive and utterly joyful.

Inertia

Inertia is an effect for advanced audio level shaping. It is based on a sequencer that runs in precise sync with the host transport, triggering up to 32 envelope generators one after another. With multiple envelope types to choose from, as well as variable timing and shape parameters, Inertia can create a plethora of level modulation effects: from rhythmic tremolo, pumping and gating to really intricate riffs, chopping and stuttering.
Inertia displays a live audio waveform and aligns its sequencer graphics with it – exactly in the same way it’s done by the sound engine, for true “what you see is what you get” operation. Every element in its user interface is color-coded and features subtle animations, bringing unusual ease of use and interactivity. Plus, all this goodness is rendered right on your Mac’s graphics adapter meaning fast response and no extra load on the main processor, regardless of how new or old your system is.

Shift
Shift is a plugin that creates animated spectral shifting effects. It is based around a step-sequenced envelope generator that allows to easily construct sophisticated patterns that are sent to control either a frequency shifter or a ring modulator. This finely-tuned setup produces a wide range of interesting effects: from gentle inharmonic detune and chirping, to extreme spectral-thinning and metallic zaps – with intricate pulsations in perfect sync with input audio.

Switch
Switch is a tool specifically designed for rhythmic audio gating. At its heart is a flexible sequencer that runs in tight sync with your audio signal and controls a series of up to 32 gates with variable duty time and smoothness. It’s a simple but versatile effect, capable of applying tremolo, gate, pumping and stutter patterns on any kind of audio material – and it’s absolutely essential for every musician.
