The developer of the Deregulator app released today a new interesting but also very crazier effect app for iOS. I was able to use it already yesterday and it’s very crazy and not so easy to use. It’s a lovely designed app with a very unique sound but you need some time to understand the main features.

Self-a-Fuzz is a distortion audio effect and it pretends on the name of the dirtiest distortion ever. This is kaiju sound processor made to destroy guitar solos and drum parties with style of Godzilla – like creative.
Warning! This is not an easy to setup app, it would be hard to understand. If you looking for “make it great” one button app – this is not it. Hope you think twice before buying this app, read the manual and explore examples. And write me a line if you have struggles. It use noise-shaping and couple of overdrives to bring unusual disturbance into your instruments. As source of noise for shaping you can use white/pink noise generators. input itself and mighty drone unit with 5 oscillators and pitch detection. You can filter your noise with bypass, VCF and 10-line equaliser.
Shaping-modulation unit have 11 methods to mix up signals and kick dramatic changes to source. After this, you can also drive your input and/or mix it with shaped input and/or filtered noise. And off course it have randomisers!
