Hyve Touch Poly Analog Synthesizer got last week a big positive resonance in the synth community. This devices are really new, innovative and different than other classical inspired Synthesizers. Today, I found another very cool touch Synthesizer, the double Jupiter 8-Voice Polyphonic Digital Touch Synthesizer. Check out the video below for a sound demo.
- There are 8 Total Voices, split into 2 groups of (4).
- Both of these groups have their own Volume Control, Attack/Decay Envelope Times, and WaveForm Shape.
- Each of the 4 Bars to the right Trigger and Control 2 Voices, one from each group.
- Unique Tones are achieved by Mixing and Layering these 2 Groups of Voices together.
- You can simply (disable) either of these Voice Groups by turning its Volume to (0)
The Sequencing Feature (Corinthian Sequence Mode) Works like this:
Imagine dropping 1 Bouncing Rubber Ball on each of the 4 Melody Bars to the Right
Everytime a Ball Bounces on a Bar, a Note (Envelope) is Triggered.At first, (Beginning of Demo Video) the Balls are Bouncing so close to the Bars that it Sounds as if the Notes are being Held or Continuous. As the Bars to the Right are Tapped/Played, the Bounce-Times are Increased
All other settings (Pitch, Volume(s), Attack/Decay Times, Waveform) can be changed and tweaked without altering Bounce-Times
Toggling Between Modes (Melody Mode/Sequence Mode) will simply Reset all Bounce-Times.
