Skram Electronic Music Maker – New Devices

SYNTH ANATOMY uses affiliation & partner programs (big red buttons) to finance a part of the activity. If you use these, you support the website. Thanks!

In March, I wrote an article and produce a Jam video about the Skram Electronic Music Maker app. The app is pretty cool for all knowledge level because every user can use it. You don’t need a specific level of music theory for using it. Now the developer team behind Skram release a very cool update with some essential features and new devices. The fact the app is now free, it’s like the no-brainer app of the summer 2016.

The new devices are:
  • 808 Drum machine: Earth making drum kit from area code 808.
  • Synth for sharp leads and short bleeps
  • Sub bass with shades of Miami
  • Rave horns to keep the neighbours awake

Here is my video demonstration about the devices:

The new devices gives you more sound flavours to Skram but also the additional features gives you more possibilities to connect the app to other apps.

  • Ableton Link support
  • Inter-App Audio support
  • AudioCopy support
  • More export options for recordings
Also the Liine developer team adds some more improvements to the app as stability and performance improvements, new visual cue when Pitch Sequencer length is zero, help copy tweaks and various bug fixes

Check it out, you can download Skram for free at the moment and all the devices are also available for limited time for free.
