Taylor Holliday, the brain behind the Modular Synthesizer Software Audulus 3, just released this week, the Windows and Linux Version. Initially the software version 3 was released as Apple only application (iPad, iPhone) but after some weeks and months of further development, Taylor is now happy to announced that Windows and Linux users can also use it in their projects.

I don’t play yet a lot with this masterpiece of software modular synthesis but I can already say what you can do with this, is a lot. What I love a lot is that Audulus 3 ship with a big amount of pre-build modules similar to the Eurorack modules. From very easy modules to very crazy ones. If you are familiar with Eurorack modules, this kind of environment is perfect for you but also for new people to modular. You can start with different tutorials and easy modules and step by step, you can extend your setup with more special modules. The main difference to Eurorack, the modules are included in Audulus 3 and you don’t must buy each module individually.
