G-Storm Electro Intros 101-VCO & VCF, Roland SH-101 Recreations In Eurorack

G-Storm Electro 101-VCO & 101-VCF are authentic recreations of the original Roland SH-101 Synthesizer circuits to the Eurorack format.

With the Pro VCF, G-Storm Electro has already brought the Sequential Pro-One Filter to Eurorack. Now he takes care of the Japanese. The 101-VCO & 101-VCF are two new modules that bring the original Roland SH-101 Synthesizer circuits to the Eurorack format.

Available in red and blue, the modules have all the functions and even more that you can find in the original instrument.

The 101-VCO is an authentic recreation of the Roland SH-101 voltage-controlled oscillator adapted to Eurorack. It includes all-loved features like the snowy noise generator, mixer and more. It also expands the original features to reveal the full potential of the CEM3340 chip: triangle wave, hard & soft sync, exponential FM and two 2 flavors of linear FM (lo & hi-range).

The module also includes an external CV signal for pulse width modulation (PWM) that is summed against the initial pulse width amount. The future expansion module will be available in the future that offers all buffered, DC-coupled individual wave outputs.

G-Storm Electro 101-VCF

The 101-VCF is a faithful recreation of the Roland SH-101 lowpass resonant filer in a slim, skiff/boat-friendly, 8HP Eurorack format module. Great care was taken to keep the 101-VCF Red fully analog circuit as close to the original as possible including resonance feedback bias, and thermistor frequency stabilization. It includes two audio IN jacks with a mix pot and two CV in jacks w/ signal attenuation pot

Please note, modules made July 2019 and after may include: either an original and rare OTA filter chip whenever I can source them, or an Analog Renaissance reissue chip hailed as an exact replacement.

G-Storm Electro 101-VCO Oscillator is available now for $235 USD and 101-VCF for $220 USD.
