Buchla USA 208C, Easel Command Module and the reissue of the San Francisco Tape Music Center 100 series are two new releases for Knobcon 2019
The synth week doesn’t stop. Since the Buchla USA took over the business of Buchla, a lot of movement has come in. For the NAMM 2019, they introduced the Buchla Red Panel, an affordable range of Eurorack modules and now for the Knobcon 2019, there are even more products.
They have introduced the Buchla 208C, a new standalone and modified version of the Buchla Easel Synthesizer without the keyboard.
New in the 208C are five additional patch inputs for Audio & CV voltage. Also onboard is the support for the optional preset management system on the left side. Also optional will be MIDI support. You can use independently in a 200e system.
They announced also the Buchel Easel Command Module which is the updated Easel in standalone desktop from with MIDI control and optional preset management.
A New Art For Returns: San Francisco Tape Music Center 100 Series
Announcing today that Buchla USA, in conjunction with San Francisco Tape Music Center founders Morton Subotnick and Ramon Sender and Buchla Instrument expert and artist consultant Todd Barton, will be bringing the historic and groundbreaking San Francisco Tape Music Center 100 Series back in its original form and format.
Built as well as kit versions will be available in collaboration with The Human Comparator known for the TTSH v.4 project (ARP 2600 clone as DIY) (Two Thousand Six Hundred Project)
The Buchla USA Easel Command Module (MIDI USB & DIN + enclosure) will be available for $2999 USD and the 208C (MIDI optional) for $2599 USD in late 2019. Optional preset management coming at a later date.
