Synthmata Is A Free Volca Drum Patch Editor & Kit Sharing System By Oscillatorsink

SYNTH ANATOMY uses affiliation & partner programs (big red buttons) to finance a part of the activity. If you use these, you support the website. Thanks!

Synth YouTuber Oscillatorsink has today released Synthmata, a free patch editor and kit sharing system for the KORG Volca Drum digital percussion Synthesizer. The interface is super easy-to-use and gives users access to all parameters of the synth.

If you want to get into the depths of sounds, here is probably the right tool and it is free.

Synthmata gives you access to both layers including each of the six parts with sliders for level, pitch, attack, release, modulation amount and rate. For each part, you get also wave-guide send, bit reduction, fold, drive, and gain. Also, it allows you to tweak the wave-guide section with model type, decay, body, and tune on the bottom of the editor.

WebMIDI

The editor is not a plugin for you DAW but works straightforward in your browser (Chrome & Opera) via WebMIDI. Clever is also a built-in kit sharing system with which you can share your favorite sounds and kits with other Volca Drum users with a simple link.

Great work Oscillatorsink and one question follow here: Why is there no official editor like this from KORG, from the manufacturer of the Volca Drum?
