TC Electronic has expanded today their TC ICON plugin series with another release. The TC1210-DT is a new spatial expander plug-in that comes again with a dedicated hardware controller. This new modulation plugin is carefully modeled on the TC 1210 spatial expander + stereo chorus/flanger rack unit. It can be used per example to add spacious stereo image effects to your sounds/tracks.
The USB controller gives full controller of the effect processor without using your mouse so it offers a different way how to work with plugins. It’s an interesting move that TC-Electronic has made in recent months with its plugins (DVR250-DT, TC-2290DT). Since the danger is great now that you get a new controller for each new plugin, I would wish that TC brings out a kind of rack for where you can install the individual modules and so has a large USB controller. Nonetheless for me it’s nice to see that a company offers an haptic experience for plugins!
