Now it’s official! Behringer has crashed Roland’s 808 day with two new releases. First, they released a short sound demo of the upcoming RD-808 drum machine using the outputs. The RD-808, an analog TR-808 drum machine clone was already announced on the Superbooth 2018 but you could not record it with the output.

Now Behringer released a sound demo that we have been waiting for. It’s short but shows well the sound quality of this new clone.

at the end of the video there is a surprise. On the next 909 day, Behringer will most likely introduce the RD-909, analog clone of the TR-909 drum machine from Roland. Behringer wrote in their Facebook comments first price estimations: It will be below $400 USD and availability end of this year!

More information about the RD-808 will follow in future
