Dave Smith Instruments just shared a preview of a new Sequential Circuits Synthesizer.
Hybrid Synthesizer?
There are no information yet available but it has already a name: Sequential X. For me it sounds like Dave Smith developed a new polyphonic hybrid synth that comes not only with synth engine but also with a sampler or rompler engine. In the first minutes of the video, we hear a clear a piano sound. This could be a note that the Sequential X will be an hybrid synth.
In last minutes, we can hear how both sounds merge together so another note for a hybrid instrument.
