Applied Acoustics System Plugins – The Synthesizer Products With Probably The Most Natural Sound
As my readers have long known, Applied Acoustics Systems products have long been one of my favourites. They are based on top-notch physical modelling technologies and emulates instruments in a brillant way.
With Chromaphone 2 for example, you can create infinitely versatile percussive sounds that are designed only on the basis on this engine, no samples are here involved. The Lounge Lizard Ep4 is a plugin based on the same technology but with the focus on electronic keys. U-he Repro-1 & 5 – The Synthesizer That Sounds The Most Analog
Who doesn’t know Urs Heckmann or U-he. The Berlin based company that every year brings the music software world in wonder how analog soft synths can sounds. Shortly before Christmas U-he has presented here last masterpiece Repro-5, an excellent emulation of the Sequential Prophet 5 Synthesizer. Already last year, the company emulated the Pro-1 in Repro-1 and was then celebrated by the community.
This is not an explicit Christmas deal but an introductory price. I wanted to remember this new release as U-he’s not known for big sales with 50% OFF or so. Sales are very rare and the discounts are rather small. Mostly it is 20 € OFF or so. Currently the Repro Bundle consisting of Repro 1 and 5 can be bought at a discounted beta price of 99 €, later the price goes up to 149 €. So who buys now saves twice: Repro-1 is free and you save 50€ which is a lot in the U-he world.
