There is currently a big question in the soundtrack world. How will the new BladeRunner 2049 soundtrack sound, will it fit to the film and how well will it build the bridge to the epic original Vangelis Soundtrack. Unfortunately are the listeners still in the dark because there is still no official soundtrack trailer of Blade Runner 2049 available. So people will hear it for the first time in the film what I personally find better. Sou you can make a better impression whether it fits to the movie or not.

The film producers have tonight made a nice live-stream on Facebook, where Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch tell more precisely about the soundtrack. What we know now, the composers have again used the legendary Yamaha CS-80 Synthesizer, the soundtrack is very electronically and they try to make the entire sound character very dark. Also interesting to hear was that Hans Zimmer copied the CS-80 sound in the software synth Zebra2 from U-he. As many know, the Zebra 2 Synthesizer is Hans Zimmers favourite soft synth.

I’m very curious how good the soundtrack and whether he can meet the expectations. Above all, many people will be interested in whether they can keep up with the original Vangelis sound. We will see it this week. Great anticipations on my side.

Here is the live stream from today
