The last few months are great when you want to expand your sound arsenal with great sounding free synth plugins for MacOS. Especially if you look at the website of Full Bucket Music. In the recent weeks and months, the developer released several great sounding free Synthesizer plugins with macOS support. Today, he continues and published Nabla Synthesizer v.1.2 with macOS support (VST & AU). Nabla is an emulation of the KORG Delta DL-50 string Synthesizer from 1979.

It features a paraphonic Synthesizer with a full featured string section that can be played with up to 64 voices polyphony. Great is here that this plugin is not based on samples but emulate carefully the behaviour and sound of the KORG Delta DL-50. Especially the ensemble gives fat sounding vintage string sounds.
I tested the plugin a bit and can say that Nable is another no-brainer from Full Bucket Music. Authentic sound character, high-quality sound engine and super low on CPU. Don’t miss Nabla for your PC and Mac system. As usual, if you want to use this plugin more often or even in your production, it would be cool if you can donate something to the developer that he can updates the plugins also in future.
The Nabla is a software instrument for Microsoft Windows (VST) and Apple macOS (VST/AU) simulating the KORG Delta DL-50 Strings Synthesizer from 1979. Is is written in native C++ code for high performance and low CPU consumption. The main features are:
