Inear Display introduced today a new multi-effect plugin that enables musicians to create experimental sounds with any audio signal. Amalgame is a multi-effect plugin that aims to streamline the creation of complex signal processing chains. The plugin includes 23 effects ranging from bread & butter filters and delay to more esoteric and glitch processors. This amount of more classical and experimental high-quality effects gives musicians an endless playground of creating unheard sounds. To go further, the developer also includes 6 XY pads and sequencers which offers even more ways to experiment.

I’m honest, I’m a big lover of this plugins and I’m really excited always when I hear that Inear Display drops a new plugin for PC and Mac. The love for these plugins comes not by chance, but the fact that many plugins these days rather are emulations of hardware devices and often deliver nothing exciting. Here is this always the case because the plugins of Inear Display delivers in every sound design session new unheard sounds and with some clicks, you have complete new sounds.

Amalgame is a multi-effect plugin that aims to streamline the creation of complex signal processing chains. Offering an intuitive workflow with all the functions easily accessible and logically laid out, Amalgame makes mutating sounds beyond recognition a breeze.

Amalgame provides a library of 23 effects ranging from bread and butter filters and delays to more esoteric and glitchy processors, which are always accessible and ready to be dropped on 6 XY pads where their key parameters are mapped to each axis.

The X and Y parameters of each pad can be sequenced from within the plugin with independent rate and length for each sequence giving you the opportunity to create insanely complex modulations in a few clicks.

And for an instant creativity boost, a versatile randomizer lets you alter the parameters, sequences and effect selections of any slot, or even regenerate the whole processing chain at the press of a button.
