Otem Rellik is known for his extraordinary new DIY instruments. The last project was an orange-coloured DIY Looper / Synthesizer / Drum Machine Instrument based on a simple Raspberry Pi. This week, he shared on youtube a new FM Touch Synthesizer. The basis for this is a Raspberry Pi Zero with Teensy Audio Board with the modular audio software PureData.

On top, he used a wooden case, mounted a touchscreen inside and printed 3D parameters for the Attack, release, filter, detune, fm amount, fm ratio, delay and volume.

An amazing new project from Otem which demonstrate that it’s possible to create own instrument with some cheap but powerful components.
